BGIT Hosts “Tap Into Tech” Event in Collaboration with @Google in Ghana 🇬🇭🚀

We were beyond excited to host the “Tap Into Tech” event in Ghana, in collaboration with @Google. This event was an incredible opportunity to bring together young women, tech enthusiasts, and professionals to explore the dynamic world of technology. From engaging panel discussions to hands-on workshops, we dived deep into the challenges, triumphs, and innovations shaping the tech landscape today.

Throughout the event, we were fortunate to feature some of the brightest minds in tech who shared their insights on various topics, including tech entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, coding, and innovative technologies. The panel discussions sparked thought-provoking conversations and provided valuable knowledge on how to overcome obstacles and succeed in the tech space, especially for women and underrepresented groups.

The workshops were equally impactful, offering practical, hands-on experience in key areas like coding, app development, and digital marketing. Participants were able to get a closer look at the tools and techniques driving the tech industry forward, all while honing their skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

We owe a huge thank you to @Google for their invaluable support in making this event a reality. Their expertise, resources, and commitment to diversity and inclusion added an extra layer of value to the event, ensuring that it was a truly enriching experience for everyone involved. Their partnership allowed us to reach even more aspiring tech leaders and provide them with the knowledge and tools to succeed in this ever-evolving industry.

To everyone who participated in the event, thank you for bringing your enthusiasm, ideas, and energy to “Tap Into Tech.” We are so proud of the connections made, the skills gained, and the incredible conversations that took place. This event marked another step in BGIT’s mission to empower young women in tech and help shape the future of technology in Ghana and beyond.

We look forward to continuing our work with @Google and other partners to create more opportunities like this for young women and marginalized communities in tech. Stay tuned for more exciting initiatives!
