CMS Primary School sponsorship
It was with great pride and excitement that we at Black Girls in Tech (BGIT) had the honour of sponsoring the Red House—also known as the BGIT House—at the 39th Annual Interhouse Sports Competition at CMS Primary School. This event has become a cherished tradition, and we are thrilled to continue supporting the school's commitment to excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
Our involvement with CMS Primary School goes beyond just sponsorship. It has been a profound privilege for BGIT to serve as patrons of this esteemed institution. Over the years, we have seen the school grow and thrive, and it has been incredibly rewarding to see the students excel in various fields, including sports. The energy and enthusiasm displayed at the Interhouse Sports competition was truly inspiring, and we were overjoyed to be part of it. The competition not only highlights the talents of the children but also encourages teamwork, perseverance, and leadership—values that align perfectly with BGIT’s mission to empower and uplift young Black women and communities.
Our partnership with CMS Primary School has been a long-standing one. During our last outreach in Nigeria, we were privileged to donate much-needed school appliances to CMS Nursery and Primary School, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed. Being able to give back in such a meaningful way is something we take great pride in. The positive impact these donations have had on the students and their ability to learn in a better-equipped environment has been a testament to the power of collaboration and giving back.
Returning this year to sponsor the Red House and take part in this year’s sports competition further solidifies our commitment to the students of CMS Primary School. It was an opportunity to see the next generation of leaders in action and to continue supporting their growth and development both inside and outside of the classroom. We deeply cherish this ongoing relationship and the opportunity to serve as patrons of a school that shares our values of education, empowerment, and community.
