Inspiring Future Tech Leaders: BGIT’s Career Talk at Atlantic Hall School
The BGIT Team recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit Atlantic Hall School in Epe, where we spent some valuable time with the students discussing the diverse and exciting career paths in the tech industry. We were excited to share insights on how various subjects, from Law to Art and Literature, can open doors to innovative careers in tech that many might not immediately consider.
At first, the students were a little taken aback by the idea that fields like Law, Art, and Literature could lead to careers in UX Copywriting, UI Design, Motion Design, and even Tech Law. But as we delved deeper into the discussion, we highlighted how these seemingly unrelated fields are increasingly becoming vital components of the tech space. For example, UX Copywriting and UI Design require creativity and a strong understanding of human interaction with digital products, while Motion Design brings digital products to life through visuals. Meanwhile, Tech Lawyers play a crucial role in ensuring companies and their users are protected, helping businesses navigate the complexities of intellectual property, privacy laws, and user agreements.
The students quickly realized that tech careers aren’t just for those with a background in engineering or computer science. The beauty of the tech world lies in its interdisciplinary nature, where talents from various fields converge to shape the future of digital products, services, and experiences. It was inspiring to see the students light up with excitement as they began to recognize that their own interests, skills, and passions could seamlessly translate into a fulfilling tech career.
We left Atlantic Hall School feeling incredibly energized and hopeful for the future. It’s clear that the next generation of leaders is ready to break boundaries and chart new paths in the tech industry. We are proud to have been part of their journey in discovering just how diverse and inclusive the world of tech can be.
